Three capoeira classes per week are being held in Manchester,covering movement and music. Apart from capoeira, we aim to educate participants on health, the environment and ways in which to contribute to and improve their community.

Classes are open to all, regardless of gender, race, religion or ability and are free of charge. The children will be split into groups according to age – 5-11 year olds and 12-17 year olds. If the first seven months are successful, the project will be continued.

When appropriate, the children will also be asked to take part in performances with other ACCA members. This will add to the promotion of the project.

Capoeira Youths Project is sponsored by the National Lottery Fund and is brought to you in collaboration with Zion Arts Centre, Old Trafford Youth Centre and Moss Side Millenium Power House.

FREE classes will run from 21st April - 30th June and 2nd August - 22nd October. Participants are welcome to enroll at any time.
